Championship courses at Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles are located to the south, approx. 1.5 hours drive away.
Worthy of a day trip out for a nosy around, with or without the clubs.
Other attractive courses nearby include: Braemar, ( the highest 18 hole golf course in Scotland at around 1,200 feet above sea level) Ballater, Aboyne, Pitlochry and Kirriemuir, all within 1 hours drive away.
