Biking
For biking both off road and on, Glenshee is well regarded with quiet scenic back roads and exciting off road tracks. The route north on the A93 over the Cairnwell Pass, the highest public road in Scotland, is very rewarding.
There are family friendly mountain biking trails starting from the log cabins doorstep. The Glenshee Outdoor Adventure Guide features 22 cycling or walking trails well worth a visit.
During the summer season a downhill mountain bike track accessible by chairlift is in operation at Glenshee Ski Centre.
The Glenshee Mountain Bike Track is around 3.2 kilometres long and is accessed by the Cairnwell chairlift. The track is a cross mountain track blue in grading with 2 uphill sections and takes about 10 minutes to ride. The bikes are placed on a bracket next to you on the single chair and there are lift attendants at top and bottom to help you off and on.
