Getting There By Road: Valmorel is one of the easiest resorts to get to, it is the first resort in the Tarentaise Valley only 15 kms from the N90 main valley road. Between Albertville and Moutiers on the N90, take exit 38 or 37. By Plane: Chambery airport is 90kms, Lyon airport is 180kms and Geneva airport is 125kms.

By Train: Quick access via the TGV by coming into Moutiers train station, from there taxis and buses are available. Direct trains from Paris and other major cities.

Car Parking: Valmorel is a car free resort which adds to the charm and character of the resort. After arriving on Saturday there really is no need to use your car till the following Saturday. To solve safety and space problems Valmorel has a toll system in place for all car parks. New for season 2005/06 all parking in the resort is charged for. Undercover Parking for one week costs 61.50 euro and Outside Parking for one week costs 41.00 euro. To pre book your parking phone 33 4 79 09 99 91 for all parking except in Le Mottet. Then for parking in Le Mottet ( the closest to Le Cristallin apartment) pre book by phoning Valmorel Agence on 33 4 79 09 94 40. It is possible to orgainise and pay for your parking upon arrival at the resort also.
